A family owned and operated business, we first started freeze drying as a means of preserving food in uncertain times. We have since expanded to create a business that helps others (like YOU!) provide for their family in a healthy, fun and sustainable way. We enjoy meeting the need of like minded families. What Is Freeze Drying And Why Is It Our Preferred Method Of Food Preservation?
Freeze drying is a method of preservation where food undergoes sub-zero freezing and then a drying process to remove moisture. Unlike other methods of food preservation, freeze drying does not shrink or toughen the food, and the food retains flavor, color and nutrition. Freeze dried food can be eaten in its freeze-dried state or reconstituted by simply adding a little water. Shelf Life
Freeze Dried food will last up to 25 years and does not need to be rotated like other foods. Freeze dried food is perfect for home storage due to it’s light weight and movability.
